Jennifer was born in downeast Maine but was raised and grew up in Orford, NH. She is a lifelong soccer and basketball athlete, playing at the varsity level since her freshman year in both sports. She grew up playing soccer with various teams around the Upper Valley, including 6 years of club soccer with the Lightning Program. She was selected for All-League first team in 2014 and 2015, and Division III All-State team in 2014 and 2015.
Jennifer is currently a high school science teacher in Vermont and enjoys staying active in the sports communities. She is an avid hiker and is in the process of completing the NH 4,000-footers. She has the patience and desire to be a gardener even though it is not always a successful venture in Northern New England.
Jennifer values and supports the benefits of participating in team sports, both from an athletic and academic standpoint, including getting young athletes excited to play, building their confidence, and developing their skills. She believes participating in team sports promotes the positive development of cooperation, socialization, and leadership. Jennifer is excited to be joining the River’s Edge Program and is looking forward to sharing her passion for the game with young athletes.
